Step-by-Step Itinerary
Start at Mamut Office
Begin your adventure at the familiar Mamut Office. Ensure your bike is ready, pack water, and prepare for a tranquil ride into the lush greenery of Triglav National Park.
Pedal Through Krnica
Cycle out of Bled and head toward Krnica, a charming gateway village on the outskirts of the national park. The route gently descends here, making for a smooth and enjoyable ride as the Radovna River comes into view. Cross the bridge and follow left to be on your way.

Follow the Radovna River
The trail follows the meandering stream of the Radovna River, known for its crystal-clear waters and serene ambiance. This part of the ride is fully immersed in nature, with dense forests providing shade and cool temperatures—perfect for summer rides.
Stop at Kreda Lake
Take a break at Kreda Lake, a small but stunning turquoise lake created by human excavation. It’s a great spot for a quick dip, as swimming is allowed, and the refreshing water will re-energize you for the journey ahead. The surrounding scenery is also perfect for photos.

Lunch at Psnakova Žaga
Refuel at Psnakova Žaga Restaurant, a cozy spot offering authentic Slovenian dishes made from fresh local ingredients. Enjoy hearty meals or snacks while taking in the calming sounds of the river nearby.
Optional extention: Peričnik Waterfall
If you’re feeling adventurous, extend your ride to Peričnik Waterfall, one of Slovenia’s most iconic natural wonders. The waterfall is a true spectacle, with water cascading down 52 meters into a rocky basin. For an added thrill, you can walk behind the waterfall and feel the cool mist on your skin.
Note: The detour to Peričnik adds a bit of distance and an uphill stretch, but the reward is well worth it for nature enthusiasts.

Return Journey
Head back along the same route, retracing your path through Gorje and following the shaded trails to Bled. Take your time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and relax as you wind down your trip.
Or optinally, if you prefer a challenge you can make a loop via Jesenice and Kočna. Note that it’s quite steep so e-bikes are strongly suggested.
