Cycling Route: Mamut Office (Bled) to the Gorge

Start Your Adventure at Mamut Office:

Begin the trip at the Mamut Office, conveniently located at the Main Bus Station in Bled. Double-check your bike and gear, and ensure you have the lock provided by the office.

Reach the Gorge Entrance:

Follow up the small hill and once you make it through the narrow passage make sure to turn right and not follow the main road, as seen on the picture

Once you reach the crossroad make sure to take a slight left on the marked cycling path towards Podhom (see picture)
The ride from Podhom to the gorge entrance features a mix of easy trails and slight ascents, giving you a hint of adventure. Park your bike securely at the entrance using the lock provided.
There’s a designated area for parking bikes, so make sure to follow signage.

Switch gears—literally! Leave your bike and take a breathtaking walk through the gorge. The loop trail is about 1.6 kilometers (approx. 1 mile) and offers stunning views of turquoise waters, narrow cliffs, and cascading waterfalls.
Tip: Wear comfortable walking shoes and keep your camera ready for the unforgettable scenery.
After you reach the waterfall you can then decide to either take the green or red route back.
On the Green route you can make a pit stop at the St. Katherine’s church, refresh yourself, soak in the sun and amazing views, then head back to retrieve your bike

Head Back to Your Bike:

- Once you’ve completed the loop trail, return to the bike parking area. Rehydrate and get ready for the return journey.
- Cycle Back to Bled:
  - Follow the same route back through Podhom to Bled. As you pedal back, enjoy the views from a fresh perspective—it’s the perfect way to end the trip.
